I am expecting my academic final examinations within two weeks from now. Yeah, you can say they are knocking at the door. Standing at the corner of the exams, I'm still kinda indifferent with my studies, not because I'm lazy or a bad student, its for things got messy on my plate, finding it difficult to manage from my side.
Look at me, my daily routine. At the very morning, I set out for my office amidst the might of Dhaka's traffic, on top of the fuel crisis that was making things worse on the road. After working the whole day, return again in between the terrible traffic experience. Returning home, it kinda impossible to stay standing without falling on the bed. Hey, wait, I don't fall for rest, because I know, if I do that, then I won't be able to wake up, my body will go into a resting mode with its full system rest.
So I keep going, tiny stuff, chitchats, or so. These things make up for dinner time, and only after dinner, I get some time alone to sit again for my work, now studying. Now you tell me, after such a long, hectic day and all the stuff, will the mind sync properly to pay attention to the studies? Doesn't work for me, no way on earth that I can be completely attentive to the topic.
It happens to me that I'm reading something, on and on, and suddenly I might take the phone and scroll Facebook for a moment to see what's happening, even though I know that there isn't anything emergency or so. I will still keep scrolling through the unnecessary feed or gor for an attack in Clash of Clans. Yeah, that's an old addiction that got reborn with bad timing.
Today, after a lot of tho ughts, I fell asleep before 12, and woke up again at around 2.00 AM. The plan is to study a little bit, as long as I can, in the peaceful night. I know, the best time is the early morning, but that's kinda tough for me to change to that routine, as it would be hectic for me to stand still throughout the whole day. So I grabbed a mug of coffee and sat down, and went little by little.
So yeah, it's the weekend, I'm gonna stay awake and hopefully on my studies and be on it until I fall asleep once again. Keep me in your prayers so I can take good preparation and do well in the exams.
