Hello, photofeeders! I'm new in this community, and for the posts I've seen, it sounds very exciting to be part and show our photos to the community. I have been experimenting lately with my Sansung camera using the macro mode and it has given me very impressive photos. Since my backyard is full of plants and small life like insects, I'm having a good time with my phone. Today, I want to show you this macro shot of a cactus named scientifically Mammillaria, to tell you the truth, I don't know the common name it is given in my area. You can see in the picture the small and bigger thorns entangled in it. There is a little bud that will eventually bloom very soon. It is a small yellow flower that has a very short life. It blooms and then withers in about 24 to 48 hours. I'll take pics for further posts once open. Well, thanks for having this awsome community from which I'll learn lots.
