Walking Through Plaza Venezuela

Hello Actifit friends, it's a great day! I woke up early; after doing some shopping, I went back home and then met up with a friend in the east of the city. The meeting point was at the Plaza Venezuela metro station. Whenever I have a get-together, I take advantage of the opportunity and leave early to get my daily routine done, since that area of ​​the city has a green space that, combined with the fresh air, is perfect for exercising in that environment.

Caminando Por Plaza Venezuela

Un gran saludo, amigos de Actifit, es un gran día. Me levanté temprano; después de hacer algunas compras, regresé a casa para luego encontrarme con una amiga en el este de la ciudad. El punto de encuentro era en el metro de Plaza Venezuela. Cada vez que tengo un encuentro, aprovecho el momento y salgo más temprano para hacer mi actividad diaria, ya que ese sector urbano posee un espacio natural que se combina con el aire fresco y es adecuado para ejercitarse en ese ambiente.

On my walk, I clear my mind and dedicate myself to appreciating nature; this brings me well-being. Although it's a sunny day, the sun doesn't bother me, as the fresh air cools the air; and the sound of the fountain's water infuses me with energy and relaxes me.

En mi caminata me despejo la mente y me dedico a apreciar la naturaleza; esto me brinda bienestar. Aunque es un día soleado no me molesta el sol, ya que la entrada de aire refresca el ambiente; como también el agua de la fuente y su sonido te inyecta energías y te relaja.

As I walked, I took some photos; at times I stopped and watched the herons flying by the river, then landing at the mouth of a channel, where they basked in the shade. Although the river isn't safe for swimming, since it's sewage, from my perspective the surroundings are beautiful; the river is channeled and its banks are well-maintained. It becomes dangerous when it rains heavily and overflows.

Mientras caminaba, tomé algunas fotos; por momentos me detuve y me puse a observar a lo lejos del río estas garzas que volaban y luego se paraban a la boca de un caño; ahí se encontraban bajo la sombra. Aunque el río no es saludable para bañarse, ya que son aguas residuales, desde mi perspectiva el entorno se ve bonito; el río está encauzado y sus alrededores se mantienen bien cuidados. Se torna peligroso cuando llueve fuerte y se desborda.

The walk through Plaza Venezuela made my activity easier and connected me to a public space that always offers people those moments of happiness that help keep our bodies healthy. Changing your environment is also an option that brings benefits. I'll leave you now; I'm going to meet my friend.

El recorrido por Plaza Venezuela me facilitó mi actividad y me conectó a un espacio público que siempre les brinda a las personas esos instantes de felicidad que hacen que nuestro cuerpo se mantenga saludable.
