If I’m being honest, when I look around today, I feel like something is missing. Values like respect, sincerity, and self-discipline are not as strong as they used to be. Sometimes I scroll through social media and just shake my head people are doing anything just to trend, even when it doesn’t make sense.
It didn’t just happen in one day though
I believe society has gradually adjusted its standards. Things that people used to correct immediately are now ignored or even praised. When someone gains attention from doing something questionable, others start seeing it as a way to “blow.” Before you know it, it becomes normal.
But let me not lie, parents also have a role to play. The home is where everything starts. If a child grows up without proper guidance, correction, and values, the outside world will shape them instead. And we all know the outside world is not always kind or moral.just look at the picture above I and those students, don't we look decent actually we are if parent always talk to their children it will be better
Then there is social media, the.facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc. This one is powerful. It has made it easy for people to express themselves, which is good but, it has also made it easy for people to lose boundaries. The pressure to belong, to trend, or to be noticed is real. Sometimes, people don’t even realize when they’ve crossed the line.

That being said, I don’t think we should push all the blame outside. At the end of the day, we all have personal responsibility. Nobody is forced to do wrong. We make choices, and those choices matter.
So, what can we do about it?
From my own understanding, change has to start from within.
We need to consciously choose values again respect, discipline, and integrity should not feel outdated. They still matter.
Parents need to be more present, not just financially but morally and emotionally. What a child sees at home will stay with them for life.
As for social media, I think we just need to use it with sense. Not everything online is worth copying. Sometimes, the real strength is in doing what is right, even when it’s not popular.
And personally, I believe having strong spiritual and moral grounding helps a lot. It gives you a standard to live by, even when the world is changing.
Finally from my end
Honestly, the world hasn’t completely lost it but we are definitely drifting. The good thing is, it’s not too late to correct things. If each of us decides to stand for what is right in our own little space, it will spread.
Because at the end of the day, change doesn’t start from the crowd… it starts from you and I. Thank you for reading...
