There are certain things in life that we can not avoid. It is actually bound to happen and one of them is death. I have come to discover that death is actually something that many of us always want to run away from and did not like to talk about probably due to a lot of things attached to it.

Same here with me. On several occasions, I have asked myself as why do people even die. Is it that it is part of the normal life or is there actually a deeper reason to it that we are not seeing.

This particular question can not be answered by our human calculations, we need to understand that even in the bible, death was not actually part of God original plan for men.

Let us return back to Genesis. In the beginning, God created humans so that we will live and not to die. Everything was actually going smooth and perfect not until man fell. In Genesis 2:17, God warned Adam that if he disobeyed, he would surely die.

Sadly, when sin entered the world through disobedience, death also came. Death became a consequence of sin and not just a natural event.

Most of the time whenever I actually think about losing people, I feel hurt. Sometimes I will wish people can actually live forever most especially if the person is a good person.

But the bible made me to understand that everyone was actually affected by that sin Adam and Eve commited in the garden of Eden and that is why death is really happening to everyone of us whether you like it or not.

As written in Ecclesiastes 3:2, “A time to be born, and a time to die. No matter the years you live on earth, you will still die someday.

But that does not leave us without hope. Even though we are going to all die. Our hope as Christians is we will resurrect with God on the last day and we are sure of eternal redemption.
