Summer power up...

It's an interesting summer. On the one hand, the heat is turning up to a point where I just want to stay in the shower the whole afternoon. And, on the other hand, the price of crude oil (affecting everything else) is above the US$100 per barrel, which makes me want to save on electricity by going solar. The last time this happened was in 2011 (15 years ago). Interestingly, the geo-political tension in different parts of the world signals more bearish sentiment, especially in the crypto space where Hive operates. This means that many investors and holders are taking more money out versus those coming in.
For me, I see this more as an opportunity to increase my HP (hive power); to grow my Hive bag while the prices are low. It's not that big of a gamble since I don't have thousands of dollars invested into this token, and, I don't really trade a big amount of Hive / HBD. But, because the prices are low, I think it will be well worth the wait for a "bull run" if it does reach that point; plus, there is still the risk that things will spiral downwards to zero since this is crypto where anything is possible.
From another perspective, when the price of BTC went down from US$13,900 in June, 2019 to US$3,800 in March, 2020, I thought that it was then end of BTC. Little did I believe that the price will surge to US$125,000 five years and seven months later in October, 2025. I'm not saying that this will happen to Hive, of course not. But if Hive just does a fraction of what happened during the last bull run, then I will be a very happy man. So, here I am.

Anyways, I've added another 1,200 Hive Power to my 6,280.074, which increased my total HP to 7,480.094. I am now a big step closer to my 2026 HP goal of 10,000 HP. Hopefully, I reach this goal before the bullish sentiment catches up with Hive.
And, that's it for now. It might still be a long way to go before we get rewarded with a Hive "bull run" or not at all, but it's a good thing to power up and continue supporting the Hive community via powering up and staking.
Love and peace,
