WHAT'S YOUR BELIEVE

Omor… I heard something today inside a commercial bus while travelling, and I’m still trying to process it.
A woman was carrying her toddler, and the child was crying uncontrollably, nothing she did seemed to calm him down. Out of frustration, she started threatening to throw him out of the window. People in the bus quickly intervened and told her to take it easy.

After a while, she tried to console him and asked if he wanted Bobo (yoghurt). The child nodded. Then she jokingly added, “What about beer? Will you drink beer?” Everyone laughed at that point.
But then things took a different turn.
A man in front said, “He’ll drink beer when he’s of age.” Another man responded, “It’s not compulsory for every man to drink alcohol.”
That was when the mother said something that shocked me.
She said, “My child must do one, either he drinks or he smokes. Whichever one, but he must do one.”
The man asked her, “What if he chooses not to do any?”
She replied, “I will make him. In fact, I’ll start introducing him to it at a certain age. Any man that doesn’t drink or smoke is a woman.”
Omo… where I was sitting, I didn’t even realize when I shouted, “Jesus Christ!”
Like… what kind of mindset is this? What kind of parenting is that?
Honestly, it’s scary the kind of beliefs some people carry about what it means to “be a man.”

I disagreed with her but she was insisting that was what she wants for her children so women won't ride them. According to her a man who doesn't smoke or drink is a woman wrapper.
May God deliver this generation from perverse mindset in Jesus name... You're reading from your handsome friend John Petra.
