Assalamualaikum and hello to my #weekendexperiences community. Welcome to Week 304. I have gone through all the topics. All of them are interesting, but I would like to go with the third one: My First Job Experience. Whenever I recall my first job experience, I become emotional. It is both an interesting and wonderful story. I passed my matriculation in 2005. After that, I decided to continue my studies and completed my intermediate in 2007. In 2008, I joined a private school in my hometown, Pai Khel, located in District Mianwali, Punjab, Pakistan. The name of the school was Naveed-e-Sehar Public School. In fact, I had also completed my intermediate education from the same school. After that, the principal asked me to join the school as a teacher.
Our financial condition was not very good. I had to support my family, and it was a very difficult decision for me because I wanted to continue my studies at a college or university. However, my financial situation did not allow me to do so. I accepted the offer and joined Naveed-e-Sehar Public School, Pai Khel. I was around 20 to 22 years old at that time. It was an age meant for enjoyment and further studies, but my situation was completely different. I had to start earning a livelihood for my family. My friends used to tell me that it was not the right time to become a school teacher. But I was the only one who truly understood my family's financial condition. I still remember that my salary was very low. My first salary was only 500 PKR, and the second was 1,500 PKR. After working for three years, my salary reached 4,500 PKR, which was considered a good amount at that time. I did not quit my studies. I used to teach at school in the morning and attend tuition classes in the evening. Eventually, I completed my B.A. with good marks. People used to laugh at me. They would ask about my salary and make fun of me because working for such a low salary was considered embarrassing at that time. But I strongly believed that one day my circumstances would change. Finally, in 2013, I got a good job. My teaching experience proved to be a hidden strength for me. Hard work and perseverance paid off. Now, I am working in a reputable organization. Whenever I think about those days, I become emotional. Tears come to my eyes, and I get goosebumps. I thank Almighty Allah for everything He has blessed me with. Today, things have changed. The people who once laughed at me now praise me. Alhamdulillah, I have everything now. This is my true first job experience story. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you.
