Whenever I listen on Spotify, I always find good music based on my Spotify recommendations. I think their algorithm in my queue is like 90% better compared to other streaming platforms. Here are some of the underrated songs that you might add to your listening list. By the way, my music taste leans more into pop, and I also love to discover other genres as well.
Olivia Dean - Dive

Olivia Dean's songs are gaining traction right now. However, I think this song from the Grammy Best New Artist needs more attention. I just love this song as it sounds in the same style as her current hit. If you love "So Easy (To Fall In Love)," then you will like this as well.
KATSEYE - Pinky Up

They received so much hate for this song since people think that it was trash. However, I think that it will just get the same recognition as "Gnarly," where it sounds bad at first. But then, it gets viral because of that bad publicity. Bad publicity is still publicity, you know. Admit it or not, a lot of people said that "Gnarly" was bad. Just look at its streams right now if you say that it's bad. Whether Manon was on the song or not, you can't deny that they ate this song. You just need to listen to it multiple times before you judge it again.
Bebe Rexha - New Religion

Bebe Rexha is such an underrated singer. Like her co-Khia Asylum singers, her songs are known but not her brand. This song is a hit for me, but it just lacks marketing. Maybe she should learn from Sabrina Carpenter or Zara Larsson, who know how to brand themselves.
KiiiKiii - Delulu

This is just a K-Pop song on our list, and I swear that this song is good. Personally, this is a hit in some smaller K-Pop fanbases. But in the mainstream, I don't think this is a hit yet. I love this track as it sounds dreamy and like a cherry on top. Its music video is also very creative, and I'm sure you'll love it.
Bruno Mars - Dance With Me
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62rgRxlM4-E
I love his song "Risk It All" and his collaborations with other singers before he dropped the album. Yet, I'm sure that it will be a hit as well if he puts it as a single. Bruno Mars just knows how to write hits, and some people are not yet ready for that discussion.
BINI - Blush

If you want to listen to a song from SEA countries, then check it out. This song mixes Cebuano, Tagalog, and English into one track. Until now, I don't know why it didn't get into the mainstream. Maybe they want Tagalog songs like "Salamin, Salamin" and "Pantropiko"? Although their Coachella was a success, it still lacks the recognition it deserves.
Sabrina Carpenter - My Man on Willpower
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbzNB2sRnVQ
This track is a great follow-up after "Tears" on her album "My Man's Bestfriend." I love this song since it sounds like her brand without looking too generic. Moreover, it would be great if she puts it as a single. However, I don't think that she will put it on the radio.
Bebe Rexha - Hysteria
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGEYho8ucHo
This is another fan-favorite song that I hope would be a hit. Bebe Rexha is known for creating EDM songs, and she's good at that. I just hope that it will be a hit as well. It reminds me of "JUMP" by BLACKPINK. You'll realize that it also sounds like "Pinky Up" by KATSEYE.
BINI - Unang Kilig

I'm not listening too much to Filipino songs recently, except for this one. Personally, I love P-Pop, and I am not a huge fan of songs that are too heartbroken or mellow. Yeah, I'm heartbroken today, but not in a relationship way. I just want to hear from a Filipino singer who is happy and doesn't sound too broken. If you love the retro vibe of Filipino songs, then it is a must-listen. I hope it will get viral, though. Unfortunately, they didn't perform it at Coachella.
Thank you for reading.
