Eating out : Lunch in Purwokerto City
Greetings everyone How are you community friends?. Thank you Eating out community inspired by @shawnnft. With children,grandchildren,daughter-in-law and sister are currently in Purwokerto city, Central Java Province.
Introduction, Purwokerto is located at the foot of mount Slamet, a city with a cool and calm climate. My family and I were in Purwokerto for a few days. During the day, my family and I were looking for a traditional and Legendary restaurant.
Restauran place. We found the Djago Jawa restaurant. This restaurant is located in the center of purwokerto and has been around for a long time. After arriving at the location, the car was Parked.
The appearance of the restaurant building is in the form of a joglo Limasan, a form of Javanese architecture. Entering inside,the Javanese nuance is very strong, seen from the interior using teak wood materials, roofs and pillars.
The chairs and benches for dining are Made of teak wood, giving the impression of a warmer and more familiar room and the room is quite spacious. The kitchen atmosphere is open, visitors can see the activities of the employees in the kitchen.
After choosing a seat, the waiter handed us the menu. They offered a wide variety of Indonesian dishes. However, the restaurant's specialty was "Ayam Jowo Ageng" meaning big Javanese chicken. A type of village rooster, it was large enough to several people.
That was what we ordered for lunch, our additional menu, we ordered mendoan Made from thinly sliced Tempeh fried in flour. And we also ordered fried green vegetables, this menu is currently trending everywhere.
Enjoy lunch with great appetite, it feels good. After the meal was finished my son went to the cashier to pay the amount of 225.000,- IDR or about ($13,23) a fairly affordable price. About to leave the restaurant. I Saw a young woman standing there serving.
