La literatura ha sido una gran aliada de la humanidad para su desarrollo y progreso, y desde que se pudo hacer llegar a muchas personas las obras de los grandes autores, la perspectiva de la sociedad cambió radicalmente.

Desde ediciones con solo ilustraciones, libros usados que pasan de mano en mano, obras que son incluídas en los pensum educativos, la mayoria de las personas en el planeta hemos tenido contacto con los libros, y en algunos casos, han existido uno o más que nos han marcado de por vida.

Literature has been a great ally to humanity in its development and progress, and ever since the works of great authors became accessible to many people, society’s outlook has changed radically. From editions with only illustrations, to used books passed from hand to hand, to works included in educational curricula, most people on the planet have had contact with books, and in some cases, there have been one or more that have left a lasting impression on us.

Y aunque algunos quizás no sean amantes de la lectura, de seguro alguna historia los enganchó de tal manera que la recuerdan, bien sea por que les haya gustado o por la razón contraria, ¿o acaso alguno de esos libros que obligan a leer en el secundario no terminó siendo una piedra en el zapato?

Sean cualquiera de estas razones, de seguro ha habido algún libro que te haya emocionado y que recuerdes, por lo que esta iniciativa se trata de eso, en virtud de que durante este mes se celebra el día del libro (23 de abril)

Pero yendo un poco más allá, queremos plantearte algunas preguntas que puedan darte un campo más amplio de ideas para tu publicación, pues no solo se trata de libros que marcaron tu vida, sino también de todo el conjunto.

• ¿Cuál ha sido ese libro/historia que te ha marcado de por vida, y por qué?
• ¿Cuál es tu género literario preferido?
• ¿De qué manera acostumbras celebrar el mes del libro?
• ¿Cuál es tu stand favorito, cuando vas a una exposición de libros?
• ¿Has conocido personalmente a algún autor? O te gustaría conocer a alguno en particular?

And even though some of you might not be big readers, there’s surely a story that hooked you so much you still remember it—whether because you liked it or for the exact opposite reason. Or maybe one of those books you were forced to read in high school ended up being a real pain in the neck? Whatever the reason, there’s surely been a book that moved you and that you remember, which is what this initiative is all about, given that this month we celebrate World Book Day (April 23) But going a step further, we want to ask you a few questions that might give you a broader range of ideas for your post, since it’s not just about the books that shaped your life, but about the whole experience.

• What book or story has left a lasting impression on you, and why?
• What is your favorite literary genre?
• How do you usually celebrate Book Month?
• What is your favorite booth when you go to a book fair?
• Have you ever met an author in person? Or would you like to meet a particular one?

Cómo participar:

Para hacerlo, debes tomar en cuenta las preguntas sugeridas en este post, aunque eres libre de hacerlo en el orden que desees y agregar información extra que lo complemente, siempre y cuando nos hagas referencia a la consigna sobre el libro que marcó mi vida, desde tu punto de vista personal, recordando siempre usar un lenguaje de respeto y empatía.
