After exploring all the walls of Garage Crémazie (see the latest post on this topic: @heroldius/street-art-874-grils-garage-cremazie-part-vi-montreal" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">StreetArt #874), we return to the Legal Wall de Rouen in Montreal to see the latest versions from last year. Today's post is from my visit on October 9th. I need to hurry because I'll probably be able to pass by it again next Tuesday on my way to work by bike.
Après avoir exploré les différents murs du Garage Crémazie (voir le dernier à ce sujet : @heroldius/street-art-874-grils-garage-cremazie-part-vi-montreal" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">StreetArt #874), nous retournons au Mur Légal de Rouen à Montréal pour voir les dernières versions de l'année dernière. Aujourd'hui, il s'agit de mon passage du 9 octobre. Il faut que je me dépêche car sûrement que mardi prochain, je vais pouvoir enfin y repasser en allant au travail en vélo.

The Legal Wall de Rouen is located on de Rouen street at railway level in Montreal's Hochelaga Maisonneuve district, a landmark for StreetArt in the city since 2010.
Le Mur Légal de Rouen se trouve sur le rue de Rouen au niveau de la voie de chemin de fer dans le quartier Hochelaga Maisonneuve à Montréal, un lieu emblématique du StreetArt en ville depuis 2010.

Macak
The viaduct begins with this artwork by Macak, a regular here with his square letters and cartoon characters, today Peanuts featuring Charlie Brown and Snoopy. It's always cool to see characters that marked our childhood before heading to the office 😀.
Le viaduc commence avec cette oeuvre de Macak, un habitué des lieux avec ces lettres carrées et ses personnages de dessin-animé, aujourd'hui Peanuts avec Charlie Brown et Snoopy. Toujours cool le matin de croiser les personnages qui ont marqué notre enfance avant d'aller au bureau.
Hacer
Inside the Rouen Legal Wall, there's lettering by Hacer, who also frequently appears on these walls. I don't know if the swamp monster is his work too. In any case, it's really well done.
A l'intérieur du Mur Légal de Rouen, il y au un lettrage de Hacer, lui aussi souvent présent sur ces murs. Je ne sais pas si le monstre des marais est de sa main aussi. En tout cas, il est bien cool.
The monster is followed by lettering by an unknown artist... / FR : Le monstre est suivi d'un lettrage d'un artiste inconnu...
Aldarwin
At the end of the first wall, we find Aldarwin with a new bio-organic monster, as he calls them. And under the watchful eye of Mr Can Do It, another unknown piece of lettering (WMD CAKS 🤔), surely a passing artist, as anyone has the right to paint here.
A la fin du premier mur, on retrouve Aldarwin avec un nouveau monstre bio-organiques comme il les appelle. Et sous l'oeil de Mr Can Do It, un autre lettrage inconnu (WMD CAKS 🤔), sûrement un artiste passage comme tout le monde a le droit de peindre ici.

Kores & Fasi
On the other side of Rue de Rouen, there's another swamp monster, this time the work of Kores and Fasi, a real success with the contrast between the silver lettering and the swampy background. I really like it. What about you?
De l'autre côté de la rue de Rouen, on retrouve un autre monstre des marais cette fois il est l'oeuvre de Kores et Fasi, une réussite avec le contraste entre les lettres argentées et le fond ambiance marécage. J'aime beaucoup. Et vous ?

Stack & ISOYA Rec
We continue under the viaduct with lettering from Stack next to ISOYA Rec. Nice / FR : On continue sous le viaduc avec un lettrage de Stack avec à côté ISOYA Rec. Sympa...
Syrup & Neoner
And that's why I really love this place. It's this kind of wall with a mix of styles created by different artists. There's Syrup with the crow, and below it, lettering by Neoner. I don't know if it's a collaboration or just an artist who respectfully added their work. The overall effect is very successful.
Puis voilà pourquoi j'aime beaucoup ce lieu. C'est ce genre de mur avec un mélange de style fait par différents artistes. On a bien sûr Syrup avec ce corbeau et en dessous un lettrage de Neoner. Je ne sais pas si c'est une collaboration ou seulement un artiste qui a ajouté son travail avec respect. L'ensemble est très réussi.
