PEOPLE CAN BE ANNOYING

Have you ever been in a situation where people just because they want to seem nice to other people end up doing things that disrupt your plans and schedule. I believe this is inevitable especially when you walk in an organization that they are different departments that needs to handle a particular thing before it gets approved. People also exhibit different types of character and some of these people do things out of the ordinary that are not even supposed to be.

So it was past our closing time and I stayed back because I had to submit some reports that were necessary to close the week. Other colleagues had gone home but this particular one was still around and he knows that based on protocol it was passed time to attend to any client. I had finished up and was trying to lock the office doors where he came with this person claiming that we should attend to him since he was already here this and that.

Based on the fact that I was still in the office I did not want to seem like a bad person but I made it clear to him that it is not right just because you know someone and wants to help the person does not mean you should jeopardize protocols. Because it doesn't seem fair, if I was not submitting report they would never have met me at that place.

I just came here to rant about how annoying some people can be when you have a schedule planned and they just come up to mess it up.
