My Actifit Report Card: April 16 2026

This morning I started the day with enthusiasm, hunting for a long-time favorite Acehnese breakfast: glutinous rice. Its rich, savory taste, combined with a cup of hot coffee, truly makes for a perfect start to the day. The morning atmosphere feels more lively as I savor this simple dish while planning my day's activities.

After breakfast, I immediately resumed my routine of delivering bread to my favorite shops around Lhokseumawe. This trip was more enjoyable because my route passed along the Ujung Blang coastline. The cool sea breeze and the sight of calm waves made the journey feel light, despite the busy workload. I stopped occasionally to enjoy the scenery before continuing my deliveries.

In the late afternoon, I returned home to finish several orders of peci (traditional Indonesian peci) that customers had been waiting for. This sewing activity requires precision, but it also brings a special satisfaction when the finished product is neat and ready to wear.

Toward evening, I headed to the rice fields to check on the progress of the rice plants. The plants looked quite good, although they still needed extra attention. As usual, flocks of sparrows began arriving in large numbers. I had to be vigilant and keep an eye out to prevent damage to the rice that was starting to grow well.

The day felt complete, from a flavorful morning to a responsible afternoon. Everything was lived with gratitude and hope for good results in the future.
