Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well. I’ve had a week where I felt quite down, without much energy to do anything. Although I’ve been drawing and sharing things on my social media, I lacked the motivation to post here, as it requires extra effort that my mental exhaustion just couldn't handle. The mere thought of sitting down to write was incredibly draining; I just wanted to draw, upload, and that was it, without having to give a "lecture" on the process.
Anyway, here I am again, catching you up on this past week or so that I was away. I’m going to start setting my posts to 100% Power Up. Since liquid rewards aren't worth much when converting them right now, I’ll take this chance to grow my Hive Power as much as possible before going back to 50/50.
Regarding the artwork: I made this drawing directly with a calibrated pen and markers, without using any references. I had a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve, unlike other times when I let elements come together without a set plan. I chose this approach because a highly detailed piece takes much more time, and I wanted something faster. Working directly with a pen increases the margin for error since I can't erase, which demands more focus. I decided to draw this girl in a prayer pose because I’ve been rewatching Rurouni Kenshin, and the samurai aesthetic has always caught my eye. I hope you like this drawing as much as I do. Hola amigos, espero que estén bien. He tenido una semana en la que me he sentido bastante decaído, sin muchas ganas de hacer nada. Aunque he dibujado varias cosas y las he subido a mis redes sociales, no había tenido la motivación de publicar aquí, ya que requiere un trabajo extra que mi agotamiento mental no me permitía afrontar. El simple hecho de pensar en sentarme a redactar me agotaba; solo quería dibujar, subir el contenido y ya, sin tener que dar una "cátedra" sobre el proceso.
Pero bueno, aquí estoy de nuevo, contándoles lo que ha sido esta semana o media que estuve ausente. Voy a empezar a subir contenido con el 100% Power Up, ya que actualmente las recompensas líquidas no representan mucho al cambiarlas, así que aprovecharé para subir mi Hive Power lo más que pueda.
Sobre el dibujo: lo hice directamente con bolígrafo y marcadores, sin utilizar referencias. Tenía claro en mi mente lo que quería lograr, a diferencia de otras veces donde los elementos se van acoplando sin un plan. Opté por algo más directo porque un dibujo elaborado toma mucho tiempo, y buscaba algo fluido. Al usar bolígrafo directamente, el margen de error aumenta, lo que me obligó a estar más concentrado. Elegí esta chica en posición de rezo porque he estado viendo Rurouni Kenshin de nuevo y la estética samurái siempre me ha fascinado. Espero que les guste tanto como a mí. ¡Disculpen la ausencia!
