A Day in My Life Blog: I Have Attended the Cacao Production Training from Manticao Department of Agriculture Office held at AG Tuod, Manticao Misamis Oriental! 😇🤗😊

New week beginning and events had happen in my life and this time, it is all about the training organized by the Department of Agriculture here i our Municipality, and this is for the Cacao Production.

This is indeed another opportunity for me, as I will be able to learn more knowledge about Cacao Production in which I am also one of the those who received Cacao Seedlings from the Department of Agriculture.

I have too many to share with you all and I am happy to share it with you all, but never I forget, I will always thank you first all my supporters here in the Community from the Admins and all Curators, thanks a lot for the support.

Since last week, the chairperson of our Cooperative after our General Assembly told me that their is an upcoming Cacao Production Training and I am one of those who were needed to join since I received a Cacao Seedlings.

When I knew about this, I immediately said yes and I am thankful for this opportunity which I will learned more information and ideas on how to take good care of the Cacao.

The training is set to happen at the Church which I always visited since the Pastor in that Church is our Section Presbyter. It is now easy for me to go their as I already know where it is located.

It was scheduled to happen by 8:00 in the morning but it is already around 8:30 in the morning when I arrived at the venue together with co-BOD member and also beneficiary of the Cacao Seedlings.

When we finally arrived it is not started yet as we were waiting for the Municipal Agriculturist to come as she will be the one who will welcome us. So we have a few minutes to rest and in just a few minutes she finally come and the training started with an opening prayer led by the Pastor of the Church.

After the opening prayer, the training proper was now then started. The emcee now welcomes everyone most especially that this is the first time a Cacao Production Training had happened here in the Municipality.

Now that the Municipal Agriculturist had finally here, she has now then given a time to share a message. She welcomed everyone most especially our Resource Speaker for today and every Farmer who came here.

She has now also shared a short message came from our Municipal Mayor as she were also the Municipal Administrator who is an assistant of our Mayor. This time we have heard an encouragement message from our Municipal Mayor.

Since she is a very busy person, and she had other appointments to do, she told us that she will leave early but assure us that whatever asked or queries about this training, we can directly go to her and in the office.

Now, the time has finally come for the next part of the program and main part which is the time our guest for today, our Resource Person from the Provincial Agriculture Office assigned particularly on Cacao Productions and many more.

The rest of the time has been given to him, as he is the most important for today training as he will be discussing more about Cacao Productions and other lessons we should know.

What he did first is, he asked each one of us about our questions or anything we asked in connection to this training and also our expectations all throughout the training. This is a good idea, as it allow him to easy understand what we want to know.

After a while, he has now then started discussing the topics he prepared for today most importantly the planting method and maintenance of the newly planted Cacao Seedlings, and a lot more.

As the lecture continued, I am very happy and blessed for I do really learned a lot knowing that I have already planted the Cacao Seedlings that I've received from the Department of Agriculture.

The lecture takes more or less two hours and we do really learned a lot, and also we thank our resource person for sharing the ideas and learnings he have to all of us.

That was already around 11:45 in the morning when he finally finished discussing then followed by some questions and answer portion. Thank God for all of the questions were answered satisfactory.

Since noontime is about to come and the training had finally ended. We have now some picture taking moments. Now before we went back home, each one of us has also given Pack Lunch for our lunch, at least we are full before we go back home.
