Streetart in Bogotá (es/en)

Hello, friends of streetart. As always, it’s a pleasure to share a new discovery with you, and this time it was in Bogotá, Colombia, where, during my stay there, I had the chance to explore some beautiful places.

Strolling through the city centre, in a neighbourhood called La Candelaria, I came across lots of lovely graffiti and murals, such as the one I’m sharing with you today.

Personally, I really liked the interplay of colours and elements in this mural, which highlights the woman’s face, where the variety of flowers and hummingbirds creates a perfect contrast with the burgundy background.

Upon doing some research, I learnt that this piece is a collaboration between the renowned Colombian street artists Rodez and Guache, who, combining Guache’s figurative style with Rodez’s symbolic elements, created this beautiful mural, which forms part of the Bogotá Graffiti Tour

Hola amigos de streetart, como siempre es un gusto traerles un nuevo hallazgo, y está vez fue en Bogotá Colombia, que durante mi estadía allá, fui a conocer lugares hermosos.

Estando por el centro de la cuidad en un lugar llamado la Candelaria, encontré muchos graffitis y murales hermosos como el que hoy les traigo.

Personalmente me gustó mucho ver la función de colores y elementos que trae este mural que resalta el rostro de esta mujer, dónde la diversidad de flores y colibríes hacen un perfecto contraste con el fondo vinotinto.

Al investigar supe que esta obra es una colaboración de los reconocidos artistas urbanos Colombianos Rodez y Guache que con el estilo figurativo de Guache y con los elementos simbólicos de Rodez dio como resultado este hermoso mural que forma parte del Bogotá Graffiti Tour
