First Vegetables (Radish) are sprouting

Today when I came home from work I saw the first sprouting vegetables in my garden. I started to grow the radish last week and today I saw the first sprouts. I am positive and Hope that I will get some nice Radish this year for my salad. I also planted a lot of other vegetables but there I still cannot see any progress. I know I have to be patient and wait a little to see the results of the efforts. I poured water ove the soil every day unless it was raining anyway and I will continue to take care of the plants in my garden. I also have prepared another compost dump where I will compost grass and other garden waste as well as remains of vegetables and fruits that I eat.

With all the work and effort put into the vegetables that grow in my garden, they are not really cheaper than buying in the supermarket but the difference is that I know how they were threated and that I didn't use any maybe posiounous repellants and weed killers to grow my vegetables and I am already looking forward to havest some of these vegetables.

This year I am testing with a few vegetables and next year I want to build a bigger cultivated area were I want to grow a lot more vegetables for my diet.
