🌸 Hello! Hello! 🌸
It turns out it’s already April, and so much has happened in my country that I feel like we’ve lived through three years in just four months 😆. That’s why I haven’t been able to share many of my memories from that month, but I’ll try to gradually highlight some of the key moments from that time of family togetherness.
December was really wonderful for me. I was traveling throughout the entire holiday season, and every moment was more emotional than the last. In La Guaira, Venezuela, they hold many activities to celebrate Christmas, and since it’s a tourist destination, the decorations are spectacular, making you feel the Christmas spirit everywhere you go.
The entrepreneurship fair held in the park known as “La Cinta” brings together small business owners—whether they’re just starting out or already have a storefront—from the beginning of December to showcase their products or services.
![Spanish version]Resulta que ya estamos en abril y en mi país han pasado tantas cosas que considero que hemos vivido como 3 años en 4 meses 😆. Por eso, muchos de los recuerdos de ese mes no los he podido compartir, pero intentaré por parte ir mostrando algunos aspectos importantes de esa fecha de unión familiar. Diciembre para mí fue muy lindo. Me fui de viaje durante todas las vacaciones y cada momento fue más emotivo que el otro. En La Guaira, Venezuela, realizan muchísimas actividades conmemorando la Navidad y, por ser un sitio turístico, las decoraciones son espectaculares, haciendo sentir el espíritu navideño en cada lugar que se visite. La feria del emprendimiento que celebran en el parque conocido como "La Cinta" reúne desde inicios del mes de diciembre a pequeños empresarios que están iniciando o tienen locales para dar a conocer sus productos o servicios.
It’s a great place to find cheaper items or discounts, where I take the opportunity to treat myself to little luxuries I wouldn’t normally indulge in because I’m always trying to make ends meet for other routine needs.
Another thing I like about the fair is that it’s for the whole family and caters to everyone’s tastes; in my case, I go for the clothes; my mom, for the food; the younger ones, for the games, shows, or to meet up with friends there. In other words, there are no excuses to stay home—it’s practically mandatory to go at least one night and enjoy everything they have to offer.

Es un lugar propicio para encontrar artículos más económicos o con descuentos, donde yo aprovecho para darme esos gusticos que normalmente no me daría por andar sacando cuentas para completar otras necesidades rutinarias. Otro aspecto que me gusta de la feria se dirige a que es para toda la familia y los gustos; en mi caso, yo voy por la ropa; mi madre, por la comida; los más jóvenes, por los juegos, espectáculos o a encontrarse con los amigos allí. En otras palabras, no hay excusas para quedarse en casa, sino que es hasta obligatorio acudir aunque sea una noche y disfrutar de todo lo que ofrecen.
That night, I was able to pick up some deals on Shein clothing, which is very popular in my country, at prices well below what I’m used to seeing in stores and online. We also took the opportunity to enjoy some ice cream and beers to beat the sweltering heat.
Music is an essential part of this venue, so we enjoyed a concert by local artists who livened up the atmosphere. The tables set up by some of the venues allowed us to have a pleasant time close to the stage so we could watch the show.

Esa noche pude comprar algunas ofertas en ropa Shein que es muy popular en mi país y con un precio muy por debajo de lo acostumbrado a ver en tiendas y publicaciones. También aprovechamos para disfrutar de unos helados y unas cervezas, para el calor tan apremiante del lugar. La música es un elemento esencial en este espacio, por lo que disfrutamos de un concierto de artistas locales que amenizaban el ambiente. Las mesas dispuestas por algunos locales nos permitieron pasar un rato agradable y cerca de la tarima para poder ver el espectáculo ofrecido.
The only thing about this fair is that, like many places in the city, they don't allow you to bring in food or drinks, so everything has to be bought there; but, as I told you, it's a fair for entrepreneurs, and you can find things at good prices.

Lo único de esta feria es que, como muchos locales en la ciudad, no dejan entrar con comidas o bebidas, por lo que todo debe ser comprado allí; pero, como les dije, es una feria de emprendedores y se consigue a buenos precios.
If we do the math, there are about six months left until we can enjoy this fair and the Christmas season again, and with how fast time is flying by, I probably shouldn’t have put the Christmas tree away because I already have to dust it off 🤣.
These days, the December holidays are becoming my favorite because I get to spend time with family, enjoy a different kind of experience, and soak up the wonderful energy of togetherness and the festive atmosphere that surrounds this whole season.

Si nos ponemos a sacar cuentas, para volver a disfrutar de esta feria y la época de Navidad quedan unos 6 meses y, con lo rápido que está pasando el tiempo, no debí guardar el árbol de Navidad porque ya tengo que desempolvarlo 🤣. Actualmente, las fiestas decembrinas se están volviendo mis favoritas porque puedo compartir con la familia, pasar un rato diferente y llenarme de la energía bonita de la unión y el ambiente envuelve toda esta época.
