Today I will show you the latest pictures of this year's pre-glacial Vologda River. I am very far behind schedule due to a job change, but I will soon get back on track and write more regular and relevant posts.

In spring and autumn, lagging is the worst because of the rapid change of nature.

A delay of even a few days may already be noticeable.

...Actually, for the last couple of years, something has been wrong with time, with its accelerated course.

I sometimes mention that the structure of a computer is very similar to that of a human being.

In this case, I would like to touch on the topic of system recovery.

There are some key starting points for system recovery (due to a crash or data loss).

We select a point and restart the computer – it restores the state it was in, for example, a couple of days ago....or you can roll back a week.

It turns out that the computer has traveled into the past and everything that was in the present and the future does not exist for it...It hasn't come yet.

He knows only the version of himself that exists now at a given moment in time with the background (memory, content, state) that he has accumulated over the entire time since the point that was indicated to him.

And now my favorite question is, "what if...?"

But what if a person is like a separate program, a system that can also be restarted from the moment of some key point?

So you woke up tomorrow in 2024, some July, with the database that you had at the time of that date, and everything that was ahead was erased.

And you can't even imagine that you've already lived for two whole years...Or maybe it's already twenty?

Maybe you didn't learn some lesson in that version of yourself in 2052 and you were returned to the checkpoint on April 12, 2026 to start something all over again.

And it happens so that you will wake up tomorrow and it will be as if you have lived another day of your life.

You will have all the information about your experience at the time of 2026...but all the information disappears after that...without a trace (?).

We can so often roll back, die in some versions and continue to live anew in others.

The only negative (or maybe still a plus) is that we don't know about such moments.

They are carefully washed (are they always?).

There are moments that manifest themselves as echoes of past experiences, but not completely erased: intuition, deja vu, dreams of the future – all this makes us think about some kind of failures in our program.

Well, as always, the main question is: how to make sure that the experience is not erased? It turns out that we could have already done ten (a hundred, a thousand...) to live a life once. And since this has happened repeatedly and rolls back periodically, it means that the experience is always different. It turns out that there may be hundreds or thousands of versions of the future, and among them there is not a single correct one, since we are still alive and have not gone through to the end. Maybe that's why the experience is erased so that no one gets confused in the many versions of the future? So far, everything is very logical.
