Visitamos Saxsi Rooftop Bar & Restaurant en Bangkok [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! como les conté en un post anterior, en Bangkok hay muchos rooftops y nosotros además de visitar el Heaven Rooftop Bar & Lounge, también tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar Saxsi Rooftop Bar & Restaurant que está ubicado en el piso 9 del Sora Hotel Silom y la verdad es que este también nos encantó, no solo por la ubicación (pues nos quedaba muy cerca del hotel donde nos estabamos hospedando y del parque Lumphini) sino también por la hermosa vista, la atención y las bebidas.

Hi everyone! As I mentioned in a previous post, there are lots of rooftop bars in Bangkok, and in addition to visiting the Heaven Rooftop Bar & Lounge, we also had the chance to visit Saxsi Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, located on the 9th floor of the [Sora Hotel Silom] ([//]:# (!worldmappin 13.72424 lat 100.52945 long d3scr)) and honestly, we loved this one too—not just because of the location (since it was very close to the hotel where we were staying and to Lumphini Park) but also because of the beautiful view, the service, and the drinks.

El lugar es muy bonito también, a todos nos encantó la vista allí y Olivia estaba muy curiosa viendo a todos lados. Una chica nos atendió muy amablemente y para empezar yo ordené un mojito y Pawel ordenó un cóctel llamado Mai Tai, ambos estaban deliciosos y los trajeron rápido a la mesa con unas papas fritas que ordenamos para Olivia que por cierto también estaban deliciosas y venían acompañadas de salsa de tomate y mayonesa, además en la mesa nos pusieron también unos pequeños palitos para picar que también estaban ricos.

The place is really nice, too—we all loved the view there, and Olivia was so curious, looking around everywhere. A waitress served us very kindly, and to start, I ordered a mojito and Pawel ordered a cocktail called a Mai Tai; both were delicious and were brought to the table quickly along with some french fries we ordered for Olivia—which, by the way, were also delicious and came with ketchup and mayonnaise. They also brought us some small appetizer sticks to nibble on, which were tasty too.

Y como estabamos muy cómodos allí y la estabamos pasando muy bien, luego de los cócteles decidimos ordenar un par de cervezas más que como ven en las fotos estaban frías y perfectas para refrescarse del gran calor que hace en Bangkok, y es que este lugar es maravilloso para relajarse a disfrutar de unas buenas bebidas con iluminación perfecta, sonido adecuado y ventilación también, además el precio nos parecía bien o como el promedio de los lugares así, pues por todo pagamos 1412 THB o 44 dólares aproximadamente que valieron totalmente la pena pues disfrutamos el tiempo allí y nos relajamos bastante y Olivia también, así que sin duda alguna les recomiendo este rooftop si van a Bangkok, les va a encantar tanto como a nosotros.

And since we were so comfortable there and having such a great time, after the cocktails we decided to order a couple more beers—which, as you can see in the photos, were cold and perfect for cooling off from the intense heat in Bangkok. This place is simply wonderful for relaxing and enjoying some good drinks with perfect lighting, just the right sound, and good ventilation, plus the price seemed fair to us—about average for places like this. We paid a total of 1,412 THB, or about $44, which was totally worth it since we really enjoyed our time there and relaxed a lot—Olivia did too. So, without a doubt, I recommend this rooftop bar if you’re going to Bangkok; you’ll love it just as much as we did.
