Art Cocktail On The Rocks
We had Orthodox Easter this weekend in my country, which is the official Easter here. I had my Easter a week before, so these few days for me are just free days, as everything is closed. Tomorrow I'm planning to visit a few exhibitions again, but till then, let's do another cocktail post.

Today I'm planning to mix this cocktail the best way possible, so you can have a little bit of everything. I hope I can succeed.
Tamaian Ioan - Matilda
This is the typical artwork that puts you to the test and makes you think of a lot of things, first of all, what the artist meant. You see a female silhouette, a very unusual one, made of purple glass, decorated with copper lase, but the head is where things turn unconventional. To me, it seems like a fish head, but I may be wrong.
Károly Bálint - Krisztina
This is the type of sculpture you expect to step down from the pedestal in any moment and speak to you as well, that's how life like it is. Look at the face expression of the bust. I see a sadness in her eyes and on her face, but the statue is fantastic.
Tibor Kovács - Without Title
This is your riddle for today. The artist meant it a riddle as well, as there's no title, so be my guest, let's see what you see here or what you think it means.
This is where I started to smile. At first sight, it may seem like some kind of religious scene on a stained glass piece. Maybe it is a religious scene, but that's not why I was happy to see the trio. I love stained glass and it is on my list to try it out one day, if I'll have the chance.
It's the work of Éva Vidra Birtalan, a very talented artist, but is it stained glass? Apart from the one on the right, or the first individual photo, it is not, just looks like it. The other two are painted on some kind of ceramics it seems.

Rodica Ramfira Pop - Autumn Flowers, oil on canvas
One thing to notice here, apart from the beauty of the painting is the colors. I can't be sure, but I think these are dry flowers. Either way, I love the harmony between the colors chosen by the artist.

Rodica Zamfira Pop - Composition
Looks like a till life for me, from the same artist. What I like here is the brushstrokes that and the colors used, especially when it comes to the two lovely birdies and the flower bouquet in the table. It's a particular style for sure.
Cocis Demeter Evelin - Water Lilies 1 and 2
I bet you didn't expect to see fashion, or dresses here, among artworks, but here it is. It doesn't happen often, but it's not excluded either. I can count on one hand, how many times I have seen garment in these exhibition rooms, but I'm glad every time I do. At one point I'd like to see a room full of garments, on mannequins. Not a fashion show, but an art show. I'm not sure I'm explaining myself correctly, but I hope you understand what I mean.
Back to the two outfits, I liked them both, for the harmony of the colors, but if I'd have to choose, I'd go with the one on the left.
Now this was a funny and interesting one. I've never seen a pile of magazines at an art exhibition, arranged as a spiral, without any label. To be honest, it was confusing as I didn't know if it's an artwork, or just a pile of magazines that you can help yourself with.
I wasn't alone in the exhibition room, there was another lady, who was more brave, or disrespectful, depending on what this was. She took one, folded it and put it in her purse. It was a bit shocking to see as I'd never do such thing, unless I ask and get permission, but that's me. The gallery lady was on the phone, so I left with a mystery unsolved and without having a copy of this magazine.
I hope I was able to make this edition of art cocktail interesting. let me know what you think in a comment and thanks for reading it till the end.
