Amazing Photo Exhibition
Looking at the photos I take at the photo exhibitions, most of the time my first thought is, I'd like to be that photographer one day. Not the one who exhibits their photos, but the one that takes such photos. Each photo is an inspiration for me, a lesson to learn if you like and I truly believe you can be as great as some, if you make an effort, both personal and financial, as you need quite a gear to do what the best does.

But am I taking any steps towards that goal? No! 😆 Why not? Because it's not a priority right now and if I'm brutally honest, I don't know when it's going to be. I love photography, as a hobby and as a means of capturing the moment, but at the moment, that's all there's to me.
So till I decide to take this seriously, let's see what professional photographers do and possibly learn from them as well.

Botond Kinda - Trio
This photo participated in the "Water Wildlife" category at the last photo exhibition organized for Hungarians around the world. It wasn't picked as a winner, but for me it is still a winner as it's a fantastic photo. Have a look at it and think of how many occasions you've had in life, to capture such a moment. Me? None.

Tibor Kántor - The Ugly Duckling
Well, I understand the pun in the title, but this duckling is everything but ugly and to capture such a moment that well, you need a lot of things, among which opportunity, your gear and the willingness of the duckling to pose for you. This marvelous photo participated in the same category as the one above.

Jenő Bíró - Dawn
Although I recognize the beauty of it and hats off in front of the photo artist, as I've never taken such a photo, it's not really my first choice, when it comes to choosing. Unfortunately dawns and sunsets have been abused so much that I'm seeing them as kitschy. It's my fault, I know, but doesn't make me like it better.

Ferenc Holop - Inheritance
This subject is available to everyone and unlike animal photos, the subject here doesn't move. You can go visit it anytime you want or can and it stays put while you take the shot. Still, how many have a good eye to capture this and frame it as perfectly as the photographer above. For me, it looks like lace. I love it! Black and white is always a good decision in case of architecture.

There were a few photos without label, this was one of them, but if I were to give it a title, I'd say pantomime. It's a fun experience, I can tell you that. I did it once, a whole photo shoot, to capture the shadow and trust me, it's not as simple as it seems from where you're sitting now, but it's fun.

Szilamér Horgász - Sheet Music
If I say this is perfection, that's an understatement. I don't know who set up those speakers and wires and how those wires were aligned, but it's just extraordinary. Love it!
Lajos L. Lőrinc - Parliament
Another golden hour photo, which is great in itself. I suppose it's the Hungarian Parliament on the eastern bank of the Danube. I took some cool photos there once, it was close to sunset, but we could not stay for longer and it wasn't quite the right time.

Zsuzsanna Olasz - Prison Flower
Last, but not least, another fantastic photo, that wins it all in my eyes. Got special mention at the exhibition. Look at the angle the photo was taken from, the arcs, the light and the shadow. It's absolutely amazing.
Let me know which one is your favorite, if you have one at all. If not, that's ok too.
