¡Saludos fans de Sanrio!

Buscando un nuevo personaje de Sanrio asociado a la serie animada Hello Kitty escogí a Landry, me encanta su personalidad alegre y juguetona, le gusta jugar con el agua y lavar todo lo que se le atraviese. De cierto no aparece mucho en la serie pero es igual de adorable como todos los personajes.

Hoy te enseño hacer una práctica y fácil caja para cotillones, dulceros, regalos, fiestas infantiles o decoración,inspirado en este lindo personaje.

! [English version] Hello, Sanrio fans! When I was looking for a new Sanrio character linked to the Hello Kitty animated series, I chose Landry. I love her cheerful and playful personality; she loves playing with water and washing everything she comes across. She doesn’t actually appear much in the series, but she’s just as adorable as all the other characters. Today I’m going to show you how to make a practical and easy box for party favours, sweets, gifts, children’s parties or decorations, inspired by this lovely character.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

Usando el molde, marcamos la pieza dejando 0.5 centímetros por fuera del borde.

Marcamos la primera pieza, volteamos medimos 4 centímetros de separación del centro y marcamos la pieza del otro lado.

La pieza del centro que forma la caja es un rectángulo de 6 centímetros de ancho por 16 de largo, marcados en : 1 centímetro para los bordes laterales y dos piezas de 5 centímetros de cada extremo dejando la pieza central de 6 centímetros.

El asa es una tira de 3 centímetros de ancho por el largo de la cartulina tamaño carta.

Recortamos las piezas por las marcas y 2 pares de ojos mas 1 par de nariz.

! [English version] Using the template, mark out the piece, leaving a 0.5-centimetre margin beyond the edge. Mark out the first piece, turn it over, measure 4 centimetres from the centre and mark out the piece on the other side. The central piece that forms the box is a rectangle 6 centimetres wide by 16 centimetres long, marked as follows: 1 centimetre for the side edges and two 5-centimetre pieces at each end, leaving the central 6-centimetre piece. The handle is a strip 3 centimetres wide and the length of the A4 card. Cut out the pieces along the marked lines, along with two pairs of eyes and one pair of noses.

Step 2️⃣/ paso 2️⃣

Ahora sí marcamos en la cartulina blanca la pieza completa de la cara más la cola, luego invertimos la pieza y marcamos la siguiente.

Dejé la colita porque me pareció muy representativo de Landry.

Luego recortamos las piezas.

! [English version] Now we trace the entire face and tail onto the white card, then flip the piece over and trace the next one. I left the little tail on because I thought it was very characteristic of Landry. Then we cut out the pieces.

Step 3️⃣/ paso 3️⃣

Siguiendo el molde, marcamos en la cartulina color marrón los dos lados del antifaz.

Tambien la pieza del asa que es de 2 centímetros de ancho por el largo de la cartulina color marrón y las rayas que van en la cola.

Recortamos las piezas por la línea marcada.

! [English version] Using the template, mark out the two sides of the mask on the brown card. Also mark out the strap piece, which is 2 centimetres wide and the same length as the brown card, and the stripes for the tail. Cut out the pieces along the marked lines.

Step 4️⃣/ paso 4️⃣

Pega las piezas, el antifaz sobre la pieza de la cara de cartulina blanca, la tira de color marrón sobre la tira de color negro, luego las layas de la cola.

Pega ahora las piezas sobre la forma de color negro y agrega los ojos y la nariz.

Realiza un corte en cada extremo de la pieza que forma la caja y dobla por la marca.

Dobla la pieza de la babase.

Aplica pegamento y ahora une ambas piezas.

! [English version] Stick the pieces together: the mask onto the white card face piece, the brown strip onto the black strip, and then the tail strips. Now stick the pieces onto the black shape and add the eyes and nose. Make a cut at each end of the piece that forms the box and fold along the mark. Fold the chin piece. Apply glue and now join the two pieces together.

Ahora pega el asa por la parte interna de la caja y con ello hemos terminado el proyecto.

Es fácil de hacer, es genial para proyectos creativos en el aula donde los alumnos pueden llevar los pasos fácilmente y es muy económico.

Espero les guste mi versión de Landry.

! [English version] Now stick the handle to the inside of the box, and that’s it – the project is finished. It’s easy to make, it’s great for creative classroom projects where pupils can easily follow the steps, and it’s very inexpensive. I hope you like my version of Landry’s.
