Arrogance And Greed Mold Online Vigilantes Into What They Are

1.  Online Vigilantes On Laughable Ego Trips

It is bad enough when buffoons and charlatans like Dr. Park Elliott Dietz and Dr. Kenneth Lanning who actually do have educational and professional credentials get away with misusing their so-called skills for unscrupulous and dishonorable purposes whenever they testify as expert witnesses. Now there are borderline illiterates pretending to be expert witnesses and researchers in the form of online vigilantes.

Online vigilantes call themselves "predator catchers." I call them domestic terrorists. Below is a video in which Norman Michael Achin exposes them for impersonating professionals for which they have no true background or qualifications.

This is the same kind of crap that Julie Posey engaged in when she was playing the role of a vigilante mother on the Internet so many years ago. That is, she was going after adult men who mostly were nostalgic and attempting to demonize them as child predators insofar as she entrapped them for crimes that they never would have committed if she hadn't lured them into doing so.

Moreover, I am reluctant to call what these same suspects did crimes inasmuch as Ms. Posey caught them trying to do things that would have been perfectly legal for 15- or 16-year-old boys to do. Also there were no victims whatsoever in the online sex-sting operations that Ms. Posey participated in or at least in most of them.

Like Ms. Posey, Roo Powell is another domestic terrorist who has been trying to fool the world into believing that she is serving the greater good, when, in reality, her online activities are doing much more harm than good to society. Now, I completely get it. Her mother is from the Philippines, and I'm sure her mother has told her all the horror stories about how young girls get sexually exploited and even murdered in that nation. However, it doesn't make Ms. Powell any kind of hero.

Until I watched Mr. Achin's video above, I had never heard of Ms. Powell. Now I hear that she proclaims herself to be some kind of expert witness. I suppose she believes that pedophilia is when an adult man is sexually attracted to a female minor, even when he is only 18 years old and that female minor is 17 years old. That is exactly how her kind's minds operate. Below is a video in which Mr. Achin describes the deceptive tactics that Ms. Powell uses to entrap men in online sex-sting operations.

Some of Ms. Powell's fans have referred to her as a superhero. She proclaims herself to be a child advocate. Well, if she really were any of those things, instead of going undercover as a teenage decoy in online sex-sting operations, she would be appearing before legislators to urge them to pass forced heirship laws that would prohibit abusive parents from disinheriting their own children. However, has she done that? I don't think so.

If Ms. Powell really cared about teenage girls, she would wage a war against deadbeat teenage fathers and urge elected officials on Capitol Hill to pass a law that would draft deadbeat teenage fathers into the military on their eighteenth birthday. Now that President Donald J. Trump and other elected officials in Washington, D.C. have been discussing the possibility of bringing back the military draft, her chances of bringing this notion to fruition are better than they have ever been. Of course, she won't do it.

There's no money for Ms. Powell in any of the things that I suggested that she did. She realizes that the majority of adult men feel their hormones pumping arduously whenever they watch a video like the one below.

Ms. Powell is merely another ignorant head case who cannot tell the difference between fake pedophilia and real pedophilia. Real pedophiles and real child molesters have no interest in pubescent and adolescent girls. Otherwise, all teenage boys would be pedophiles and child molesters as well.

If the Supreme Court of the United States ("SCOTUS") were ever to force all the state jurisdictions in our nation to lower their statutory ages of consent to 13 or 14 years old, Ms. Powell would definitely become a train wreck and her certifiable true colors would reveal themselves to the entire planet. She needs to crawl back under the rock from whence she came. Nobody would miss her in that event.

Like Ms. Posey, Ms. Powell will likely fade into obscurity ten years from now, and she will become completely irrelevant in the public arena. By then, her vigilante activities will be outlawed. That is, if somebody doesn't kidnap her first, which I'm sure could very easily happen. People like her are good at making enemies everywhere.

I have to give Mr. Achin a round of applause for his comments about Eric Lind in his preceding video above. Mr. Lind proclaims himself to be a researcher. I'd be very interested in knowing what Mr. Lind's credentials are in that regard, because I strongly suspect that he doesn't have any. He's merely another online vigilante on an ego trip that is dangerous to the public safety.

Perhaps Mr. Lind is an excellent drag racer, but his critical thinking abilities leave so very much to be desired. My heart goes out to Alicia Kozakiewicz after the horrors she suffered at the hands of Scott William Tyree back when she was 13 years old. However, her ways of addressing the issue of sexual predators do not meet up to the same standards as how Elizabeth Smart's ways do so.

2.  Sex-Offender Registration As A Private Moneymaking Machine

Corporate moguls, hedge-fund managers, venture capitalists, and the likes are now starting to capitalize on sex-offender registries throughout the United States, and I don't merely mean that they're doing so through the conventional means that they do so regularly. They're now charging people online for special access to sex-offender registries throughout our nation, and they know that there are people that are stupid enough to pay for such services.

It is bad enough that certain state jurisdictions are charging registrants to be on the sex-offender registry involuntarily. Is our government serving us or are they enslaving as many of us as they can? You have to wonder.

What next? Are online vigilantes like Roo Powell and Eric Lind going to turn online sex-sting operations into a multi-level marketing pyramid scheme? I wouldn't put something that outrageous and outlandish past them? People like them are capable of anything no matter how irrational it is.

3.  Final Thoughts

The other day I saw a movie titled Sweet Hostage starring Linda Blair and Martin Sheen. This was not the first time that I had seen this movie, but it was the first time that I had seen it from beginning to end.

In this same movie, Linda Blair played a 17-year-old high-school dropout named Doris Mae Withers who was unhappy with her life out in the sticks. Martin Sheen played the role of Leonard Hatch, who was an escape mental patient in his mid-thirties.

After her truck breaks down, Doris Mae Withers hitches a ride; and Leonard Hatch picks her up. He eventually takes her captive. However, the plot begins to change as Doris Mae realizes that Leonard cares about her and wishes to rescue her from her miserable home life. Eventually the two fall in love with each other.

This same film was originally released in 1975. One has to wonder if such a film would have been a success if it had been initially released in this day and age. Americans have become paranoid about teenage girls being in age-gap relationships with adult men, not to mention the controversial nature upon which both characters meet in this same film.

No, I would never condone any adult man kidnapping a teenage girl. However, if an adult man and a teenage girl met under different circumstances and they truly wanted a future together, then why can't our society get its head out of the pedophile-panic zone? Such age-gap relationships have nothing to do with pedophilia in the first place. Fact has it is that the statutory-rape laws in our nation are way out of touch with reality, and the people who support them are equally out of touch with reality.

Nations that have statutory ages of consent between 13 and 15 years old don't have problems with online vigilantes. In fact, most of them don't even have online vigilantes or "predator" catchers running around like maniacs at all on their streets. It's a sign that perhaps our nation needs to reform its statutory-rape laws and lower the statutory ages of consent in every state jurisdiction.
