The art of remembrance.

Hello, my lovely people, it’s a pleasure to say hello.
I’ve been away for a few days for personal reasons, but I’m delighted to contribute to this weekend’s challenge.
I’ve chosen: What was your first job? Tell us about it.
Well, my lovely people, I started working formally at the age of 15, for as long as I can remember.
I’ve always liked to earn my own keep, and I was brought up to believe that if you want something, you should go after it with perseverance and effort, always within the law, because in the long run, you’ll always come out on top.
Like any well-behaved teenager, during my teenage years I stood out for my creativity in drawing in all forms: prints, posters, murals, adding a unique touch to my days, because I express my feelings through a variety of shapes and colours.
That’s how I began my creative journey, surrounded by paints, brushes and the odd can of spray paint; my bag was filled with music on my trusty old Discman.
What wonderful times those were!
People admired my art, they let me know, and that spurred me on.
As time went by, I honed my skills through academic sessions at art school, giving my designs a unique touch.
I always wanted to study design or architecture, but life got in the way – as they say back home, these things happen.
We never forget what we love doing, no matter how many years go by.
See you another time.
I use Canva and the free Deepl translator as my native language is Spanish.
