We are living in a time when many young people feel uncertain about their future, lacking direction and a clear sense of purpose. It can sometimes seem as though life is filled with obstacles designed to hold them back. Still, it is important to remind them that hope is not lost—there is always an opportunity to build a life that is meaningful and fulfilling.

Many gifted youths are being misled by the pressures around them, whether it comes from their family situation, society, or the company they keep. These influences can easily steer them away from the right path if there is no proper guidance.

However, young people remain the backbone of the future—of our families, our faith, and our nation. Even when they struggle or make mistakes, they should never be abandoned or written off. What they truly need is patience, encouragement, and constant reassurance that they can still rise above their circumstances.

Personally, I believe that purpose is discovered when a young person begins to live intentionally—becoming useful to themselves, devoted to God, and impactful within their family and community. With purpose comes direction, and with direction comes steady growth.

Young people should not be expected to figure everything out on their own. No matter how mature they may seem, they still need guidance, support, and correction along the way. Encouragement should not only be given in moments of success but also in times of difficulty, when they are most vulnerable.
