Hello, talented friends of Hive. How are you all doing? Today I want to tell you about my startup—could you call it a talent? Well, more than just my talents, it’s about those skills or ideas we sometimes have in mind that eventually come true.

There were many things I’d always wanted to do, but I didn’t know how to go about it or have the funds to invest, so it was just something I thought I’d like to do. Everything changed in September 2025...

My partner ❤️, with a little capital and interested in investing, had another type of business in mind, but ended up backing my idea—what I was passionate about...

But what was I passionate about? SUBLIMATING T-SHIRTS 🤭

I did some research, looked for suppliers, we searched for images and designed our logo, and I had the first prints made—using DTF for our first T-shirts—which for me was like laying the foundation stone of our business. We then set out to find a name that would represent our brand, and that name is M&E Textil, the initials of our names (Miguel and Edioretza)

A few days later, I traveled to see my boyfriend; he works in Caracas and lives in Mariara, Carabobo, and during that visit we would buy the rest of the supplies and materials to further bring the idea to life...

A few days before traveling, I landed a remote job, and I started the same day I traveled—it was crazy, but we pulled it off. On September 11, 2025, we traveled to Maracay and bought our first 30x38-inch iron, a mini iron, Teflon, and a dozen T-shirts to get started.

And basically, that day, M&E Textil officially took its first breath (like when a baby is born).

That day was magical. We were nervous. We set up the machine—well, my boyfriend did it, haha—we turned it on, and waited those endless minutes until it reached 320°... We placed our first T-shirt on it, and when we lifted the iron, there was our first perfect M&E T-shirt. We were thrilled and looked at each other, knowing that something big had just begun.

Of our first T-shirts, some were for sale and others for our own use, to test the durability of the printing, and so far they’re all perfect—at least the ones we’re using.

That day we were happy, satisfied, and excited.

The challenge began when I returned home. I couldn’t devote myself 100% to the business because my job took up all my time, so my boyfriend—despite his even more demanding job—kept the business going. He had the large machine, I brought the T-shirts home and sold a few. After a few weeks, I sent him the T-shirts I had, and his sister sold them, so one more person also started benefiting from the business, which is good.

There were difficult moments for me getting back into my routine, and seeing how my boyfriend was carrying the entire weight of the business frustrated me because I couldn’t devote more time to it, but he never complained. He had fallen in love not only with me, haha—he really liked this business and is committed to it; well, it belongs to both of us.

The business has grown, and it’s all been thanks to my boyfriend’s effort, commitment, and dedication ❤️. Right now, I’m dedicating a little more time to M&E Textil, though most of our customers are in Caracas and Mariara, and I’m in the east, in Anaco, Anzoátegui. We have plans and dreams for growth, trusting in God that it will be possible as soon as possible and that we can expand our presence in the local market.

I’ve always considered myself a creative person with natural talents, so this business is part of that—part of my creative gifts.

This is the story of M&E Textil: dreams coming true when two people come together with faith and hard work. Today, when I look at our T-shirts, I see much more than just designs; I see effort, love, dedication, commitment, and above all, perseverance.

Hola amigos Talentosos de Hive. ¿Cómo les va? Hoy quiero hablarles de mi emprendimiento, ¿se podría decir que es un talento?, y bueno más que mis talentos esas habilidades o cosas que tenemos alguna vez en mente y luego de alguna forma se hacen realidad.

Hay muchas cosas que me habían gustado hacer, pero no sabia como ni tenia para invertir, así que era algo que pensaba me gustaría hacer eso. Todo cambio en septiembre de 2025...

Mi pareja ❤️, con un poco de capital, interesado en invertir tenia pensado otro tipo de negocio, pero termino apostando por mi idea, por lo que me gustaba a mí...

Pero, que era lo que me gustaba a mi SUBLIMAR FRANELAS 🤭

Investigo, busco proveedores, Buscamos imágenes y diseñamos nuestro logo y mando hacer las primeras laminas, pero de DTF para nuestras primeras franelas, que para mi fue como colocar la primera piedra de nuestro negocio, y nos pusimos a ubicar un nombre que representara nuestra marca y ese nombre es M&E Textil, iniciales de nuestros nombres (Miguel y Edioretza)

Nuestra Maquina para SUBLIMAR...

A los días, viaje para verme con mi novio, el trabaja en Caracas y vive en Mariara Carabobo, y en esa visita compraríamos los demás insumos y materiales para materializar aun más la idea...

Unos días antes de viajar conseguí un empleo remoto, e inicie el mismo día que viaje, fue una locura, pero se logró. El 11 de septiembre de 2025 viajamos a Maracay y compramos nuestra primera plancha de 30 x38, una mini plancha, teflón y una docena de franelas para iniciar.

Y básicamente ese día oficialmente M&E Textil, dio su primer llanto (como cuando un bebe nace)

Ese día fue mágico, estábamos nerviosos, armamos la máquina, bueno mi novio lo hizo, jaja la encendimos, esperamos esos minutos eternos hasta que llego a la temperatura 320° ... Colocamos nuestra primera franela, y cuando levantamos la plancha, ahí estaba nuestra primera franela perfecta, de M&E, estábamos alegres y nos miramos sabiendo que algo grande acababa de comenzar.

De nuestras primeras franelas unas para vender y otras para nuestro uso, y ver durabilidad del planchado y hasta ahora todas están perfectas, por lo menos la que tenemos nosotros en uso.

Ese día estábamos contentos, satisfechos, felices y emocionados.

El desafío inicio cuando volví a donde vivo, no pude dedicarme al 100 % al negocio porque el trabajo me consumía el tiempo, así que mi novio a pesar de su trabajo que es mas demandante saco el negocio adelante, él tenía la maquina grande, yo me traje las franelas vendí algunas, al cabo de unas semanas le envíe las franelas que yo tenía y su hermana las vendió así que una persona más también se comenzó a beneficiar del negocio lo cual es bueno.

Hubo momentos difíciles para mi volver a mi rutina y ver cómo mi novio llevaba todo el peso del negocio me frustraba por no poder dedicarle más tiempo, pero él nunca se quejó. Él se había enamorado no solo de mi jaja, le gustó mucho este negocio y está comprometido, bueno es de los dos.

El negocio ha crecido y todo ha sido básicamente al esfuerzo, compromiso y dedicación de mi novio ❤️, actualmente ya me estoy dedicando un poco más a M&E Textil, sin embargo, principalmente los clientes los tenemos en Caracas y Mariara, yo estoy en oriente en Anaco, Anzoátegui, tenemos planes y sueños de crecimiento, confiando en Dios que sea posible lo más pronto posible y expandir nuestra presencia en el mercado local.
