Don't Lose Yourself

Hi everyone!
I have been thinking lately. War erupted on middle east, and the oil economy is plummeting. Everything is affected, especially the resources, but technically, human resources and natural resources are suffering. The cycle of each is in chaos.
Have you watched the movie Happy Feet? Didn't humans try to take all the fish around Antarctica? With just one factor, everything is affected. Humans took their food, eventually bigger predator prey on the penguins.
Life is never easy. Living in a fast-paced modern world as a member of the middle class with a salary of working class. Working from 8 to 5, double shifts, hustling from one job to another job just to pay off unwanted bills. You work for a selfish, penny-pinching, greedy company. While you don't get paid on time, benefits are being taken away, you are not compensated for your loyalty, and you still get to work while on leave. For what? Just to be able to eat a meal twice or thrice a day, while they take their little vacation elsewhere.
Living in this shitty life, all you can count on is yourself. Take care of yourself, all you've got for a living is you. Nobody would take care of you, but YOU, unless you have someone to rely on. Enjoy the life you have, celebrate each and every minute. It is never wrong to reach out to someone during these hard times. It is just surviving the cruelty of the greedy world; what we ought to have is structure among ourselves. Support and help the family, friends, and community around. Build a strong bond, conquerors never won a battle alone, and lean on each other rather than just ourselves.
Time is gaining up on us. It's not too late to look for better management. It is never too late until you can't. Look for a better opportunities where you can develop your skills, learn more, and still be productive on your job. Look for something that won't hold you back from being a better man. Everything is accessible now on the internet. You can search free online tutorials, or you can pay for a specific tool or skills to learn. Nowadays, once you finish your degree, the actual thing you need to do at work is not taught at the universities. You need to learn it on your own; no one will tell you what is right or wrong, but experience. And if you actually have someone to teach you or learn from personally, then you are really lucky.
Time is flying fast, and time is wasted on being focused on work for too long. Nothing's wrong with getting out of that office from time to time, nothing's wrong with thinking about yourself once in a while. You are still human; you are in control of your life. You still have a personal life outside your work life. Be with your family, get together with your friends. Live your life, rest your mind from work, see the world outside work, be with the World. Converse and interact, meet someone new. Get out and explore the city, the town around you. Look for a place to eat, hang out, and breathe, where you can always get together with friends or family. Find a hobby where you can actually pursue your passion. Cons about passion, though, passion gets monetized, and from there you change your career, which actually makes it more toxic than your actual work, then you forget the essence of it being a hobby. At some point, your rest gives you stress and anxiety.
As we mature, we tend to forget our childhood. We are obligated as we grow older. Bigger responsibility means bigger problems. And when that happens, more things are left out and just passed by. When we are young, it feels like everything is a big deal. Do you remember when you first tasted an ice cream? Your first time seeing a rainbow? Do you remember the first time you ever played in the rain? How about the time you tasted a soda? So, before you actually lose yourself, remember that as years pass, it doesn't mean you can't be young and do the old things you enjoy. It doesn't mean you can't be childish anymore. You can still be the 3-year-old you, run like your 7-year-old self, be as clever and sharp as your 10-year-old self, and be the teenage you who gets excited and thrilled by any physical activity. Many say that we don't play because we are mature, no. Wrong. We are "matured". Yes, we age because we don't play anymore. I just want to say that never forget about our inner child. Instead of being "childish", be young at heart. No matter how shallow it is for others, as long as it makes us happy.
