https://youtu.be/--URoQAbHR8?si=pZ84uiBkCsfrUpX6 Sometimes we should take out time and ask ourselves if we are we chasing God's blessings or are we pursuing His purpose? Eternity is shaped by the things we prioritize in every part of our lives; honoring His presence and seeking His counsel in both the big and small decisions we make each day. Putting God first isn't simply a phrase, it means giving Him active devotion and surrender. What happens when we don't give God His rightful place? God warns the people who have prioritized their own comfort over His purposes: King Solomon, who prioritized God's agenda over his own, asked for wisdom to fulfill God's call and in return, God gave him far more than he requested. Why? Because Solomon put God's interests first. You and I have the same choice today. We can be like Solomon and enjoy the blessings that come from prioritizing God. Or we can follow the example of the Israelites in Haggai's time, who faced lack and frustration because they neglected God's work while focusing on their own comfort. God resists self-centered living that sidelines His mission. It's a warning sign when comfort becomes your priority over commitment. When convenience trumps conviction, you're drifting into them nothing. But true love for God is proven by sacrifice, obedience and a spiritual indifference. Many today are willing to serve God as long as it cost willingness to align our lives with His Word and will. Here are some simple but powerful ways to ensure God is first: Start the day with Him. Pray for guidance before the rush begins. Pause during the day. When life gets hectic or you face a decision, take a moment to seek His counsel. Live according to His Word. Not just hearing it, but applying it in matters to Him.
