Planning does it for me

There is a popular saying, "He who fails to plan plans to fail." I am excited to welcome you to my blog post on the second edition of the Hive Learners writing prompt.
A great way to get things done is by planning them because in the process of planning you will know if a thing or a project is worth embarking on.
A passage of scripture talks about a man who wants to build a house sitting down to count the cost if he has enough resources to start and finish the project, and that is what planning entails.
Although I must say I have been slacking in following my own plans lately, but you know when you aim for the moon and miss, you will land among stars.
I plan most of the time, but I hardly follow through because of things that are always popping up and unexpected situations sometimes, but having a plan always gives me a mental picture of what I am supposed to do at a particular time.
A man who doesn't have a plan is like a person just living for anything, and if you don't live for something, you will live for anything the world throws at you.
Write the vision, make it plain, set it upon tables so that ye may run and not faint—that's what a verse of the Bible says, so you see, even God is a huge fan of planning.
Nothing great comes suddenly, and I have heard people say you don't stumble into greatness; you step into it through conscious planning and actions taken.
Planning gives you the ability to manage risks, and it enables you to prepare for eventualities so you have options to fall back on, but without a plan you are handicapped.
As an event person, I totally understand the result of planning, and the opposite is chaos, and that's the reason why during events you see table tags because you don't want chaos.
I always ask my clients what concept they want for their event to enable us to effectively make plans that will accommodate all their dreams for their events in order to make them a reality.
Personally, through planning, I have been able to get some of the things required for my personal growth and development, and of course it takes planning for intellectual and physical growth.
I remember while I was in the 300-level first semester, I deliberately planned my reading timetable, and I followed it, and believe me, at the end of that semester, that was my best result in school because I followed a plan.
Planning does it for me because you see, a person who flows with the vibe might succeed at something once, which may be attributed to luck, but planning gives you the ability to replicate things. Remember, a person who fails to plan has already planned to fail.
