Hello friends of the Black and White community and #MonoMad. Today I bring you another chapter of my Takanakuy documentary, which is slowly reaching its end. On this occasion, I’ve curated a mix of fights that caught my eye—capturing that peak moment of brutality, which is one of the many faces of this tradition.

I hope to convey what I see through my lens, but I also love that each of you can give these images a different interpretation. That’s what I love about photography: the ability to tell a story while allowing the viewer to find their own meaning in what they see. I've been having some technical issues and I've switched publishing platforms, I hope you can understand these glitches. I’d love to share more, but I’m heading to class and I'm very sleepy!

Hola amigos de la comunidad en Blanco y Negro y mis amigos del MonoMad. Hoy les traigo un capítulo más de mi documental Takanakuy, que ya se acerca a su fin. En esta ocasión, presento un mix de peleas que llamaron mucho mi atención, capturando el momento cúspide de la brutalidad, que es una de las caras más crudas de esta tradición.

Espero que puedan ver e interpretar lo que busco mostrar en esta serie. Me gusta intentar contar una historia, pero también amo que cada quien pueda darle una interpretación diferente a las imágenes. Esa es la magia de la fotografía: cada ojo ve una historia distinta. He tenido problemas técnicos y he cambiado de plataforma, espero que puedan entender los percances. Me gustaría contarles más, pero ya me voy a clases y ¡tengo mucho sueño!
