Hello friends of the Black and White community and #MonoMad. Today was election day, so it was difficult to take photos (they wouldn't even let me take my camera out at the voting station!). But yesterday I went out to shoot around the market and also managed to get a shot during a fleeting visit to the Miraflores boardwalk. I'm finally getting used to the streets of Lima again and its striking layer-on-layer compositions. I know new photographic things are coming.
After spending my birthday with the people I love and fulfilling my "patriotic civic duties" (hahaha, I actually wish voting wasn't mandatory, but that's a story for another time), I am super exhausted. I just made some time to leave you a little bit of my art today. Greetings and have a beautiful start to the week!

Hola amigos de la comunidad en Blanco y Negro y mis amigos de #MonoMad. Hoy fueron días de elecciones, así que fue un día difícil para tomar fotos (¡ni siquiera me dejaron sacar la cámara en la votación!). Pero ayer fui a sacar unas fotos por el mercado y también logré una foto en una visita fugaz al malecón de Miraflores. Al final ya estoy acoplándome de nuevo a las calles de Lima y a sus composiciones impactantes de capa sobre capa. Sé que se vienen nuevas cosas fotográficamente.
Después de pasar un día de cumpleaños con las personas que quiero y haber cumplido con mis "deberes cívicos patrióticos" (jajaja, en realidad desearía que no fuera obligatorio votar, pero eso es otra historia), estoy súper agotado. Solo me di un tiempo para dejarles un poco de mi arte el día de hoy. ¡Saludos y hermoso inicio de semana!
