Unfortunately, when you plan an outgoing trip there is always the problem of the weather, and this time I had organized this walk for a long time and so I wanted to go anyway even if the weather wasn't the best, but fortunately now with all these weather apps you can never go wrong and I was sure that it wasn't forecasting rain, also because I had organized a nice trip and I wanted to take some beautiful photos to share here with you too.

Certainly for a tourist, the first thing that strikes you when you come to Sirmione, which has now become a super tourist destination and known throughout the world, is certainly in front of the beautiful medieval castle, which has been restored several times and is now in excellent conditions and if you want to visit it the entrance costs around €10, while you can enter for free on the first Sunday of every month, because in Italy but also in Europe some state museums are completely free and therefore this is also the opportunity to visit these places.

I have honestly come here several times in my life, to take, let's say, several walks, but I had never noticed this church which apparently is the parish church of Sirmione, and I must say that it is very interesting and well kept, so I couldn't resist popping in to see what it is like, I must say it is very simple, but truly a place not only for those who love prayer but also for those who love art.

For some time I had been organizing myself a bit, because I wanted to experience the sensation of seeing Sirmione and all its beautiful peninsula from another perspective, let's say from the perspective of Lake Garda and so I had already booked a short boat trip some time ago thanks to a discount I had found, but what I can tell you, to save money is to look at many sites and then write via email and negotiate the price. Then it always depends on the tour you do, for example there were two of us and we did a very short tour of about 40 minutes, that is the classic tour of the Peninsula which sees the castle, the Catullus caves and the thermal baths and we paid about 12 euros per person in my opinion it is a good price.

for goodness sake, we were not very lucky with the weather, because surely if it had been sunny the photos would have come out better, but I have to say that it was a beautiful experience because it made me appreciate this place from a different point of view, however there are various tours lasting even two or three hours and naturally you end up paying 50/60 euros, this always depends on your availability.

I hope this tour has been interesting for you and I hope I have given you some useful information perhaps to make this experience happen. I say goodbye and see you soon.
