Life Doesn't Follow Our Script
I like to plan everything before I start anything, but life rarely follows my script.

Last year, I had it all figured out. I planned to rent a new apartment closer to school and get my life more organized. I felt everything was finally falling into place.
But just a week after that plan, I lost a huge amount in crypto trading, and that alone changed everything I thought I had under control.
Not long after, my wife’s pregnancy was confirmed. That shifted my plans again, from getting a small, simple place to thinking bigger because of the baby and everything that comes with having a new member in the family.
In the end, I had to let go of my desired location and settle for what I could realistically manage. Life doesn’t always go as planned because it keeps introducing its own changes.
Most of us also planned to cash out big during the bull run. We made lists, calculations, and expectations of investments, purchases, and life upgrades.
But the market didn’t move the way we expected, and that alone was enough to shake many plans. Still, should that stop us from planning? No.

Even when things don’t go exactly as expected, planning still matters because not everything fails. Some parts still happen, just differently or at a smaller scale.
I planned to rent a house in a specific location, and although that didn’t work out, I still rented an apartment.
There was also a time I planned to go to the gym consistently for a whole year. After a few weeks, I lost motivation, but instead of quitting, I adjusted. I brought the gym home, bought some equipment from Alaba Market, and continued my weight-loss journey with home workouts.
Same with trading, we may not have cashed out big from the bull run, but many of us still made something, even if it wasn’t what we projected.
Right now, a lot of crypto lovers are already planning for 2028 because of the next Bitcoin halving. The expectation is that after the halving comes another bull run, so people are already making plans, what coins to buy, how to accumulate early, and when to hold until the market turns green again.
But the truth is, nothing is ever fully certain in the market.
We have seen it before, plans that look perfect on paper don’t always play out the same way in reality. Timing, emotions, and unexpected events can change everything.
So, regarding the Hive Learner prompt, I make plans, but I don’t let the failures that follow them stop me. When things don’t go as planned, I go with the flow, adjust, and still aim for results.
At the end of the day, man proposes, God disposes. I don’t feel bad when things shift, as long as I still achieve something close to my goal. Every win counts, no matter how small.
So the real lesson is simple: don’t stop planning, just stay flexible, adapt quickly, and keep moving forward anyway.
