Today I wanted to vary my contributions to SMARP since most of them have been urban, reflections of buildings or windows that I get on my way to work, and I was looking for a reflection that captured something of nature. It's not too hard to find when you live in Caracas, so I went full of optimism to find a good reflection towards the east of Greater Caracas. I had to advise a group of undergraduate students at a private university; I do this because working at the public university is no longer enough to support me financially.

I left my car in the parking lot and was heading to the university's dentistry school when I stopped for a moment to look at the reflection of a vehicle. It caught my attention because it was reflecting the treetops in the school's plaza. The parking garage has three levels, and I had left my car on the second, but seeing the tree branches reflected in this SUV captivated me with the view.

I'm referring to the panoramic view created in the SUV's window; you can see the reflection of the treetops almost conical, from left to right, where they appear wider and more detailed. A reflection as simple as finding yourself in the window of a van, but precisely because it is so simple, it has its charm.

I managed to leave my advising sessions early and sat in the plaza for a while, contemplating and enjoying these magnificent trees while sipping a coffee. Sean bienvenidos a mi participación en el concurso #SMARP @olgavita/reflection-hunters-contest-smarp-show-0367278b93864" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">#267, hoy quise variar mis aportes en SMARP ya que la mayoría de ellos han sido urbanos, reflejos de edificios o ventanales que consigo en mi camino al trabajo y estaba buscando algún reflejo que capturara algo de naturaleza. No es algo muy difícil de encontrar cuando vives en Caracas, así que fui lleno de optimismo a encontrar un buen reflejo hacia el este de la Gran Caracas, tenía que asesorar a un grupo de estudiantes de pregrado en una universidad pivada, hago esto porque ya trabajar en la universidad pública es insuficiente para mantenerme económicamente.

Dejé entonces el carro en el estacionamiento y me dirigía a la facultad de odontología de esta universidad y me detuve un momento a ver el reflejo de un vehículo, me llamó mucho la atención porque estaba reflejando las copas de los árboles que estaban en la plaza de la facultad. El estacionamiento tiene 3 pisos y yo había dejado mi auto en el segundo, pero al ver como se reflejaban las ramas de los árboles en esta camioneta quedé encantado por la vista que generaba.

Me refiero a la vista panorámica que se genera en el vidrio de la camioneta, casi de forma cónica puedes ver el reflejo de la copa de los árboles de izquierda a derecha donde se ven más amplias y con mejor detalle. Un reflejo tan simple como el encontrarse en la ventana de una camioneta pero justamente por ser tan sencillo, tiene su encanto.

Logre salir de esas clases de asesoría temprano y me quedé un rato sentado en la plaza contemplando y disfrutando de estos grandes árboles mientras me tomaba un café. Al final no me fui con las manos vacías al encontrar este maravilloso reflejo que espero les guste. Nos vemos en el próximo SMARP. Saludos!
