From the sky to the underground (for #wednesdaywalk)
Je to rok, co jsem se toulal kolem Zlaté Koruny u Českého Krumlova (jižní Čechy) a „objevil“ při tom jeskyni.
Na Velikonoce jsem se tam vypravil znovu, abych se podíval, jak „narostly“ malé krápníky, které v jeskyni byly.
Letošní „průzkum“ však byl netradiční. Vzal jsem si na pomoc Toma (dron Potensic Atom) a doprovod mi dělala Sue s Ashleym.

It's been a year since I wandered around Zlatá Koruna near Český Krumlov (South Bohemia) and "discovered" a cave.
I went there again at Easter to see how the small stalactites that were in the cave had "grown".
This year's "exploration" was unconventional, however. I took Tom (a Potensic Atom drone) to help me and Sue and Ashley accompanied me.

Vezmeme to ale popořádku.

Po létání v otevřeném terénu nastala otázka, jak dostat Toma (dron) do jeskyně. Myslím, že to je asi první pokus v republice :-).
Jeskyně se totiž nachází v průrvě bývalého kamenolomu asi deset metrů pod úrovní terénu. Okolí je zarostlé stromy a keři.
„Prokousat“ se porostem, bez havárie dronu, byl nelehký úkol.

After flying in open terrain, the question arose of how to get Tom (the drone) into the cave. I think this is probably the first attempt in the country :-).
The cave is located in a ravine of a former quarry about ten meters below ground level. The surroundings are overgrown with trees and bushes.
"Cut" through the vegetation, without crashing the drone, was not an easy task.

Dostat se průrvou k jeskyni už takový problém nebyl.
Getting through the ravine to the cave was no longer such a problem.
U vchodu do jeskyně však naše létání skončilo. Na příkrý sestup a nízký vstup jsem si netroufl. Dál musel Tom „pěšky“.
However, our flying ended at the entrance to the cave. I did not dare to make the steep descent and low entrance. Tom had to continue "on foot".
V jednu chvíli jsme dělali i průvodce. Okolo jedoucí cyklista, přilákán děním v průrvě, projevil zájem o prohlídku jeskyně.
At one point, we also acted as guides. A passing cyclist, attracted by the action in the ravine, expressed interest in exploring the cave.
Jednou rukou svítit a druhou nést dron, aby jeho kamera zaznamenala náš pokus o proniknutí do podzemí, se na kvalitě záběrů moc nepodepíše.
Holding a flashlight with one hand and carrying a drone with the other so that its camera could record our attempt to penetrate underground doesn't really affect the quality of the footage.
Krápníky se moc nezvětšili. Možná o milimetr. Přesně jsem to neměřil :-)
The stalactites didn't get much bigger. Maybe by a millimeter. I didn't measure it exactly :-)
Výstup z jeskyně byl, hlavně pro dron, úlevou.
Exiting the cave was a relief, especially for the drone.
Malý výlet dopadl, podle mě, nad očekávání dobře. Dron si vedl skvěle ve větru, v lese i v podzemí a nepřišel k „úrazu“ :-)
The little trip turned out, in my opinion, better than expected. The drone did great in the wind, in the forest and underground and didn't get into any "accidents" :-)
