Day 1: Rainboots

I am now on an attempt to catch up the day 1 and 2 of this entire prompt list and of course I should start with the 1st day I missed and that prompt word is rainboots! I have seen this prompt word in a few ones I attempted before and I'm kinda sad I never got to reach that point there so I had this prompt idea all this time and now I finally get to execute OwO

Materials: Watercolor, pencil color, white acrylic marker Duration: 2 hours

I like where this one went UwU because it still looks soft. I originally wanted to fill it with flowers but then the thought of just doing plants was enough for me.

I had started ti's one with a blotchy watercolor set up because I was really thinking my watercolor skills was refined enough for me to do this entirely on watercolor XD but I think... I need thinner brushes for that... and I also need to stop losing my brushes so that I can keep painting finer details XD (Cuz I lost my thinner mop brush yesterday XD

So I did make an attempt at better blending with the mop brush I currently have but it just was not working for me so I decided to just go ahead with my pencils and build up my layers again. And since I wanted to make the boots a bit more detailed, that's exactly how I spent 2 hours just figuring out how to Detail it in XD

for the plants, I think I spent a longer time there than on the boots because I had no idea how I wanted the plants to look, I just painted and penciled in green then just let imagination do its job. It did come out decent and thanks to my acrylic marker and a black color pencil, it did get enough definition that it doesn't look flat.

And that is basically how this worked out for me UwU just a bit more and I can finally go back to 1 prompt a day!!!! yayyy!
