Replaced my laptop keyboard by myself

I have two laptops. One is HP Omen 15 which is a old one and another is Lenovo which was bought quite recent. Recently I started making changes to the way I work and started finding ways to use both of my laptops. There problem with my HP Omen laptop is that the first time when I had problems with my keyboard, ants are the keyboard. Yeah that's can happen. Ants really love the stuff that's under a keyboard. I came to know that it was a very common thing only after this happened to my laptop. Slowly some of the keys started malfunctioning. That's when I found out.

The other problem was the battery. It got very old and I had to replace them as well. The problem with these two replacements is that they were quite pricy. The first time when it happened, I replaced it and it lasted about 2 years asked my keyboard keys started malfunctioning again. But this time I did not want to go for purchasing or replacing the keyboard again instead I bought a Logitech external keyboard that was serving my needs. It was perfect for my needs.
The only problem is when I wanted to travel it was hard to carry the keyboard everywhere. So I bought a new laptop and that was lenovo. But every since I bought Lenovo, I kept my HP Omen aside. Recently I realised that I shouldn't do that and make use of both the laptops efficiently. So I spent about 3000 Rs to purchase a new keyboard for my laptop.
Last time I have my laptop to the shop and replaced the parts but this time I have bought the parts online and that's why I wanted to do it by myself. I usually do these things by myself. But it's been years since I worked on any hardware stuff. Today by watching a YouTube video, I was able to do it by myself. Initially I was very scared as I'm out of touch from all these for several years. But now I'm very glad and happy about it. Since the software industry is going crazy with AI, I recently got some special interest on Hardware. Let's see how it goes. For now I'm happy that I have two working laptops now. I have to put them to best use now.
