Trading is not a very difficult task but if you understand it properly you can become a better trader. I am not a very expert trader myself but I want to give you some hints especially for those people who want to do scalping meaning trading in a short time frame.

First of all if you want to do scalping then you need to look at a slightly higher time frame (15 minute TF). There you have to mark your range meaning you have to draw support and resistance levels. Simply understand this that you either have to trade within this range or trade it when a breakout happens.

I looked at the 15 minute time frame where the market was bullish and near a resistance level. I waited so that I could get a proper breakout. Then the market gave a breakout to the upside.

Reason for this trade

After the breakout I did not take entry immediately but I waited for the Fair Value Gap (FVG) to close properly with a body candle. I also marked that area because this is the level where the price fills the gap and then moves upward again.

When I got confirmation then I took a long trade after the resistance was broken. The candle below I set that as my stop loss.

For take profit I chose a strong resistance level on the 5 minute time frame. The result was that within just 2–3 minutes my TP was hit.

In this trade my risk-reward ratio was 2.36 and I easily got profit.

These are some important tips of scalping which are very necessary to understand.
