Always Fight with Numbers in Equalizer
This is one of those battles where the modifiers really carry the whole strategy and you can feel it from the start. With both Super Sneak Modifier and Equalizer Modifier active, the game becomes less about normal positioning and more about how you abuse those rules better than your enemy. I honestly like these kinds of matches because it feels like solving a puzzle instead of just using strong units. In this battle, I focused more on using the modifiers to my advantage instead of just going for high damage. It ended up working really well especially because of one key unit in my lineup.

I like how my placement of Spellmonger was very effective. Due to Super Sneak modifier giving Sneak to all melee units, enemy units that gained those Sneak hits a wall called Spellmonger and getting hit back each time because of Thorns. Equalizer modifier only made this worse for them since it boosted Spellmonger's 1 health to 12 making him more deadly and better at protecting Satha Toledo. Since I have more units and the enemies doesn't have insane damage, the advantage I got from both modifiers are very good and made this battle easier than normal.
Modifier 1: Super Sneak: All Melee attack Units have the Sneak ability.
Modifier 2: Equalizer: The initial Health of all Units is equal to that of the Units on either team with the highest base Health.
My Lineup:
There's only Earth element allowed so my choices are very limited. I prioritized getting the most amount of units instead of getting stronger ones to capitalize on the Equalizer modifier. I also put Satha Toledo in the middle instead of last to make sure she is safe from enemy Sneaks maximizing the Super Sneak modifier.
Aurelia: Aurelia is very simple but very useful in this kind of battle. The +1 health may not look big but with Equalizer Modifier it still helps push survivability even further. Since all units already have 12 health, that extra point doesn't seem much but it still helps. I really don't like using Aurelia in these situations because Equalizer modifier already fixes the unit's mistakes but I would prefer her over some archons in the game.
Ironwing Juggernaut: Ironwing Juggernaut is my main tank mostly because of the low mana cost. Even if he has Weary debilitation, it doesn’t matter that much since I only need him to stay alive and absorb damage. With Equalizer Modifier boosting his health to 12, he becomes way more durable than usual. I am not relying on his damage so skipping turns is fine as long as he keeps the front stable.
Mad Kaboomist: I normally don't use this unit because of its low health. He has 2 magic damage, 1 health, 2 speed and Snipe. Thanks to Equalizer modifier, Mad Kaboomist can be a stronger unit and the 2 magic damage is good enough for a 4 mana cost card.
Glimmermancer: Glimmermancer is a simple unit with no ability but solid magic damage. In this battle, that is already enough because abilities are not the main focus here. With 12 health, he becomes very hard to kill which means consistent damage every round. He isn't the best but still good enough for this battle.
Satha Toledo: Satha Toledo is one of the most important units in this lineup. Her Tank Heal becomes very strong because it scales with the high health from Equalizer Modifier. Healing a 12 health unit every round is a huge advantage in long fights. I made sure to protect her by placing her away from the back so she doesn’t get hit by Sneak.
Spellmonger: I placed him at the back to protect Satha Toledo for potential Sneak due to Super Sneak modifier. Normally, this unit has 1 armor, 1 health, 1 speed and no damage. It has Thorns to deal 2 damage to every melee unit attacking him. The Equalizer modifier makes him a really good unit since it changes the 1 health to 12 health. That allows him to do more Thorns damage which is strong since all melee units will have Sneak.
Ujurak Elder: Ujurak Elder is here mainly because of Camouflage. This ability makes sure he cannot be targeted by Sneak so all attacks go to Spellmonger instead. That was exactly my plan so I can maximize the Thorns damage from Spellmonger. Even with low stats, he becomes useful because of how the modifiers work. It is a small detail but it made the whole strategy more consistent.
This battle really shows how strong modifiers can be if you play around them correctly. I didn’t win because of raw power but because I used the rules better. Sometimes, simple ideas like this can win you games easier if you know how to play with it.
