If Tuesday was crazy, Wednesday was out of this world. One team secured its direct ticket to the Playoffs, and another survived a do-or-die battle in California.

In front of a boiling Xfinity Mobile Arena, Philadelphia (7th) proved it knows how to play without Joel Embiid when the pressure is on.

All-Star point guard Tyrese Maxey carried the team on his back with 31 points and 6 assists. Maxey scored 7 straight points in the clutch of the fourth quarter to quell the Magic’s comeback.

Rookie V.J. Edgecombe made a huge impact in his playoff debut with a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds, including a dunk over Jalen Suggs that sent the arena into a frenzy.

Desmond Bane carried the Magic with 34 points, but he didn’t get enough help down the stretch.

The 76ers secure the #7 seed in the East and will face the Boston Celtics in the first round. The Magic will have to play for their lives this Friday against the Charlotte Hornets.

A legendary comeback at the Intuit Dome! The Warriors (10th) were on the ropes, trailing by 13 points in the fourth quarter, but the man of the hour stepped up. Stephen Curry reminded everyone who the “Chef” is and cooked the Clippers in their own backyard.

Steph scored 27 of his 35 points in the second half. He sank his seventh three-pointer of the night with 50 seconds left to break the tie and seal the game’s fate.

The indomitable Al Horford, at 39 years old, was the unsung hero with four clutch three-pointers in the fourth quarter to lead the comeback.

Many people focus on Curry’s points, but without Green’s physical play and vocal defense yesterday, the Warriors would be packing their bags today.

Bennedict Mathurin led the Clippers with 23 points, but Kawhi Leonard went scoreless in the fourth quarter until the final seconds.

The Clippers are officially eliminated. The Warriors survive and will travel to Phoenix to battle the Suns for the #8 seed this Friday.

The Play-In is shaping up to be a real thriller, so on Friday the eighth seed in both conferences will be decided.
