The Only Reason For The DAO To Fund The Team

In this video, I offer a follow up on upcoming proposal to have the DAO fund the Splinterlands team for the next 2 years. I did give a listen to The People's Guild episode with Clay and Dave (highly recommend!) as well as the DAOn Hall and my thoughts basically distilled down to this - the only reason one would support this proposal is because it would help the team out more than it would hurt them. By this, I mean that the proposal actually looks unfavorable to the team in its terms - why pay an additional $800k to the DAO if you know you can make it up in sales? This would only happen because it would smooth out the release schedule for the team and not require them to continue pushing new set after new set.
