INFLATION IS MAN MADE AND CAN BE STOPPED

When I saw the topic I just said to myself - I wish the Nigerian government will be opportuned to read all the entries in this community. Because I believe that we have amazing writers here who will do justice to the topic. I will also try my best to make own contribution.

Nigeria is one of the nations that I have in a very long while that don't really know what to do with inflation. Marketers just wake up in the morning and have the feeling that the price of a particular commodity in the market should be increased by 100%, the next day it happens and it will teach to every corner where that product or commodity is sold. Hmmm! We have suffered this for a very long time, but I believe that this time by the grace of God I have a little solution Incase it shows it ugly face again.

THINGS THAT CAUSES INFLAMMATION

I believe that we should first of all look at the things that causes inflation in our society.

1. Scarcity of the raw materials. You will believe with me that whenever their is no raw materials, inflation will set in
2. Increase in the price of fuel. In Nigeria especially 80% reason why we experience inflation is when the price of fuel rises above limit. We all know that most of the things we buy in the market is been transported from one place to another and if the price of transportation increases, then it will affect the price of goods in the market.
3. Selfish purpose. Some people are very selfish and so they just decided to add the price of commodities in the market just to make more gain.

Looking at the problem above, I believe we already should have the solution to the problem. The first thing that I will suggest to the government is to make sure the price of fuel is brought low so that the transportation of goods and services will be cheaper. If that is settled, then our problem is almost gone.

Another major thing that needs to be done is to make sure the price of goods and services is regulated. People should not just increase the price of goods just because they feel that it is okay for them. The government should make sure that in every state people get goods and services.

Finally, we can all join hands together to make our society a better place by doing the right thing and not waiting for the government to do it for us.
